Since 1984, the Disaster Kleenup Specialists team has been helping clients restore their properties after disasters of all kinds.  We understand our customers’ need for fast and reliable service in order to get back to everyday life.  Unscheduled remodeling is hard to manage if the restorers in charge of the project don’t understand the situation.

We pride ourselves on employing some of the finest restorers on the Monterey Peninsula—people who take care of our customers like they are part of their own families.  Our goal is to help our customers make informed decisions that they are comfortable with.  We do this by providing expert knowledge and top-notch customer service throughout every phase of the project.

Our Director of Emergency Services, Jesse Lizama has been with Disaster Kleenup Specialists since 1994 and knows this industry inside and out.  He is even the Monterey Herald’s Disaster Recovery expert in the Ask the Expert feature, and answers questions asked by individuals all over the country.  Jesse is just one of many team members that have been with Disaster Kleenup Specialists for over five years.  We are a team with proven dedication, experience, and knowledge.

Our technicians have been trained and certified by nationally-recognized restoration organizations.  All of our Water Technicians have been certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).  The IICRC was formed in 1972 to serve as an independent, non-profit certification body, to set and promote high standards and ethics, and to advance communication and technical proficiency within the inspection, cleaning and restoration service industry.  IICRC certification requires continuing education in order to ensure that technicians stay on the forefront of the restoration industry.

Disaster Kleenup Specialists is a proud member of the Disaster Kleenup International (DKI) network.  DKI is the largest property damage restoration organization in North America.  Being a DKI member allows us to have full access to cutting-edge technology and provides us with resources to handle any job, no matter how large or complicated.  DKI membership also ensures that the Disaster Kleenup Specialists team provides customers with the highest quality service and follows a strict code of professional ethics.
