Braving the Shore Summer Reading Review

Braving the Shore, Summer Reading Review

Summer is here and if you are like me you are dreaming of days taking it easy at the beach, exploration, and adventure. So, with this in mind I picked up a copy of Cori Wamsley’s Braving the Shore novel and it was the perfect summer reading kick off for me. Cori is truly a champion of words as she uniquely unfolds the narrative of this book beautifully.

What I loved about this book:

If you love mystique, romance, and self-discovery by the seashore this intriguing story has all of that colorfully woven throughout. Once I picked up Cori’s book, I was totally involved in the lives of mirror image identical twin sisters, with plenty of twists and turns when one of them comes back to their coastal hometown for their 35th birthday celebration.

I was so intrigued by the story line I literally could not put this book down. The blend of past and present, family and friends, beach and bakery all melded into a sensory delight for me that leaped off the pages.

I truly believe that life unfolds our destinies before us and sometimes gifts are wrapped in tragedies that change our lives for the better in ways we could not possibly imagine, which Braving the Shore narrates so exquisitely.
